Who we are
In collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology de Lausanne (EPFL)
Completed and ongoing gold-standard clinical trials on nutrition and skincare involving over 900 participants
Scientists have extensively explored Urolithin A’s effectiveness on health and patented the bioactive into Mitopure®
Our proprietary ingredient Mitopure® is protected under 80 patents
“What makes Timeline so unique compared to all the other companies out there is really our deep dedication to science that we employ in the development of all of our products.”
Chris Rinsch, PhDCo-founder & President
“My vision is that timeline becomes one of those brands that is trusted because there's real science behind. To try to say to the consumer, they will take it, you're going to have a healthier aging process so that you can enjoy life longer.”
Dr. Patrick Aebischer, MDChairman, Scientific Advisory Board
Named a Top 40 Global Finalist in the $101M XPRIZE Healthspan Competition, recognizing Timeline as a world leader in clinically proven longevity interventions.
Over 80 global patents granted for Urolithin A and Mitopure®.
Topical skincare line powered by Mitopure® launched with proven benefits for firmness and radiance.
Clinically validated the benefits on energy, strength, and endurance at higher 1000mg dose.
Elite athlete study: Better muscle endurance and recovery in elite athletes, 4 weeks 1000mg dose.
Landmark clinical trial showed up to 12% muscle strength improvement in older adults.
Mitopure delivers 6X more Urolithin A than a 8oz of pomegranate juice in a separate clinical study.
Launched Mitopure® — the first and only clinically tested Urolithin A supplement — in the U.S. market.
Clinical research program launched on topical application of Mitopure for skin longevity benefits
Discovered that the key difference between healthy, strong aging adults and those who are frail is the quality of the mitochondria in their muscles.
Achieved FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status for Mitopure® following a rigorous, direct review by the agency—unlike the self-GRAS pathway used by most supplement companies.
Launched the first-ever human clinical trial of Urolithin A.
Breakthrough peer reviewed preclinical studies show Urolithin A improves mitochondrial function and muscle health.
Developed Mitopure®, the first highly pure, bioavailable form of Urolithin A designed specifically for safe human use.
Identified Urolithin A: a powerful postbiotic that reactivates mitophagy — the body's cellular recycling process essential for healthy aging.
Zeroed in on natural compounds in pomegranates, but with a rigorous scientific lens to go far beyond traditional superfood claims.
Began pioneering research on mitochondria — the energy engines of our cells — and how their decline drives aging.
Founded by MDs and PhDs at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) with a mission to target aging at its root through cutting-edge science.
We are supported by the knowledge and guidance of an accomplished group of scientific and clinical advisors with expertise spanning microbiome science, genomics, metabolomics, gastroenterology, immunology, nutrition, and human clinical research.

Professor. Johan Auwerx directs the Laboratory for Integrated and Systems Physiology at École Polytechnique Fédérale (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he studies the mechanisms that control how metabolisms are controlled and the factors that make them more or less effective. Focusing on longevity, his team is using multiple animal species to test a specific compound, Urolithin A, which could potentially restore much-needed muscle strength and energy to people as they age. Prof. Auwerx is a scientific advisor to Amazentis.
